Subwoofer I

“It was 50 foot high!”

Imagined as part of the same system as A speaker I, this represents the ship in which the visiting aliens arrived in. It is their home and therefore represents the most familiar geometry to them. This piece is exploring the idea of simplicity as it applies to geometry and in particular limitation in form. It’s creation encouraged me to imagine this along with the speakers at scale, exploring a sound stage with thousands of people beneath.
