“Halo reigns over the night”

Made from the dead head of a Thompson’s Yucca, found in a favourite garden. The Thompson’s Yucca has an otherworldly character, one that I imagine and re imagine in my work. Here it plays the central role as the golden leaves wrapped in a hand made brass ring. The bulb is hand blown and amorphous to give the piece a softness to counteract the sharpness of the leaves.
