“Fishing for light”

Inspired by a vision of an angler fish anthropomorphized with my own form, I imagined this character coming to life and mimicking the plant and human world around it. Hand carved out of Rojo Alicante Marble, with the light wired through the stone connecting to a hand blown bulb covered with a ceramic and Yucca leaf shade.
